Summer Retreat 2019!

Summer is a season of rejuvenation and restoration. Come spend a few long days and relaxed nights with a bunch of wonderful fatties at our Summer Retreat, taking place August 9 to 11! Space is limited so reserve your spot today!

Come stay with us at this three-level chalet located in downtown Government Camp, two miles east of the Mirror Lake Trailhead and four miles north of gorgeous Trillium Lake. The chalet offers a private hot tub on its spacious deck, a living area on the first two floors, and a finished studio (with a second kitchen and wood stove) on the basement level.

Accessibility Note: The chalet is unfortunately not ADA accessible, and climbing a flight of stairs is required to enter and move throughout the space. There are stairs (~15 steps) from the top of the driveway to the front door of the chalet, as well as stairs (~12 steps each) connecting the floors inside. Please see photo gallery below to get a better idea of the chalet layout.

Most of the activities and all meals will be contained to the main floor. If you would prefer a bed on this floor to avoid more stairs, please let us know. When filling out your registration form, there is a spot to note any accessibility requirements. We will absolutely do our best to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Meals* will be provided for the weekend and the cost for this is included in your registration price. We will also provide coffee and tea, but other beverages will not be provided. We suggest bringing a refillable water bottle, your favorite drinks, and light snacks (especially if you choose to participate on the hike we have planned Saturday morning). We will have a second refrigerator with limited space for anything that needs to be chilled.

*If you have specific dietary requests or food allergies, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

We will also be hosting a handful of activities* throughout the weekend, including a writing workshop, arts and crafts, morning meditation and yoga, and a hike to Trillium Lake. More TBA!

Do you have an activity or workshop you’d like to lead? Shoot us an email at and let’s make it happen!

*All activities are optional, leaving plenty of time for independent adventure or leisure.
